Hamburg 2025
K❤️P meets laif foundation in HamburgTwo days full of K❤️P photo workshops as part of the laif foundation's ‘BildBotschaften Hamburg’ project! On the topic of ‘What is German? – A cultural discussion about clichés’, author Martin Verg read from his children's book ‘100x typisch Deutschland’ (Carlsen Verlag), which is illustrated with pictures by photographer Jan von Holleben. Children from a 3rd and 5th grade class in Hamburg took part. The pupils then went on a tour of the city with photographer Florian Müller and photo editor Mike Gamio to take their own photos on the topic. These photos were then edited and discussed together.The aim of BildBotschaft Hamburg and our K❤️P workshops is to bring people together through visual language, to bring social issues to life and to support young perspectives.

WOW by Martin Parr SHOW Yeast Photofestival in Lecce in the Palazzo Scarciglia with Martin Parr’s first book of kids gone FIRST EXHIBITION FOR KIDS!! This includes a bubble gum blowing contest, SelfieWOWs, memory and puzzle competitions as well as creative workshops and most of all: huge and fun prints of Martin Parr‘s WOW! Not to froget the book presentation and a signing.Curated by @jannnnnnvonholleben and @edda_fahrenhorst for @kidslovephotography the exhibition runs until 9th of November 2025.

Presenting Martin Parr’s first children book WOW at Librairie du Palais during Les Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles.Together with curator Edda Fahrenhorst, Jan von Holleben, who is the the editor of WOW, gives an insight into the why and how of making this book.
LEICA x K🩷P
Photoworkshop for children by our new K🩷P member Florian W. MüllerBe explorer, artist and curator all in one. With the Leica SOFORT, the children had a camera at hand that made photography an immediate experience. They took photos, edited which motifs they liked best and printed them out straight away. Under the guidance of photographer Florian W. Müller, the children learned to see the world in a new way through the lens. They walked across the Photofestival and discovered hidden gems. The discussed and edited their work on camera and in print and prepared an impromptu public exhibition.

A SWEET and GAGA K❤️P-Photobook-Workshop at the MUSEUM FÜR FOTOGRAFIE in Berlin in conjunction with their recent exhibition on Max Ernst titled FOTOGAGA!Our Berlin team: photobook specialist Mareike Stoll and photographer Anna Schäflein took the kids into creating absurd and imaginary images as well as creating books that tell the weirdest stories.
Polycopies: The photography book for children
Paris November 7-10, 2024
Following the success of our first meeting in 2023, Polycopies is continuing our exciting exploration of photography books for children. This year, Polycopies is giving our artist and book maker Jan von Holleben and Laurence Le Guen, academic and exhibition curator, carte blanche to host a series of meetings. Beyond that, K❤️P is running various events from curating a book wall, launching our first book for kids, book signings, pop-up table and a super social aperitive on deck of the ship as a grand finale to an eventful week.

Deauville October 19/20, 2024
Photofestival in Deauville gave us a carte blanche for an event space for kids in LES FRANCISCAINES mediatheque. We set up a research station on photo books for kids, a book making workshop and a photo studio in order to explore the young visitors creativity and to stimulate their visual skills in communication.

Paris 2023
Thanks to the great support by Polycopies team, November 2023 marks the official launch of Kids❤️Photography. This included a busy pop-up stand with a selection of our favorite contemporary photo books for kids and a round table bringing together a colorful set of photobook connoisseurs.
