It was such a pleasure to edit it, and I can’t wait for many kids (and adults) to explore it.The book is loyal to our mission: Showing kids the best photographic material in order to introduce them to the vast image world out there. Through his photographs, Jan von Holleben brings childhood dreams to life. In 2002, Jan, accompanied by his neighbours' children, began this photographic project, which would become the beginning of his career, the series Dreams of Flying. Inspired by classics of children's literature as well as superheroes, the children tell him impossible and adventurous stories, which Jan then easily takes to stage and photographs with a small instamatic Nikon camera in his characteristic and famous flat perspective.
