Martin Parr‘s very first kids exhibition WOW based on his first photo book for kids: WOW This exhibition includes plenty of images from his book in various formats and on various materials. Each images leads the young visitors (and their adults) into a game or a creative excercise, fun challenges or a very cool selfie station.

Curated by Vreni Hockenjos, Jan von Holleben & Mareike Stoll. In our very first K❤️P exhibition, we focus on photographs in children's books in a show designed as a playground. A playground?! Yes, come along and discover the fascinating variety of children's photobooks, past and present, from Poland and many other countries! As part of Fotofestiwal in Łódź, we have designed this exhibition especially for children aged 5-12, but, of course, all other age-groups are welcome as well. You can learn about how such books are made, literally step into books, and try out becoming an artist or an editor yourself. We invite you to touch, read and explore photobooks and, most importantly, to have fun!  The exhibition is curated by Vreni Hockenjos, Jan von Holleben & Mareike Stoll as part of the K❤️P initiative. Their aim is to strengthen the visual literacy of children through educational formats on photography that emphasize participation, play and creativity.
